**About the role**:
This role plays a key role in supporting our Corporate Affairs Manager to plan and execute key internal and external communication projects and campaigns relating to our networks.
**What you’ll deliver**:
- Support the develop and execution of communication plans for internal and external audiences that positions and profiles CitiPower Powercor and United Energy as innovative and dynamic businesses within the energy sector
- Provide multi-disciplinary communication services to execute these projects and campaigns including message development, copywriting/content development, media relations, design and production management, video production and photography shoot management services
- Engage and manage briefs and performance with external service providers as required
- Advise, and develop, content opportunities for internal and external purposes arising from the actions of other Corporate Affairs team members or other business units
- Manage relationships and communication planning with internal business partners across the following teams: Health, Safety and Environment, Sustainability, People and Culture, Information Technology and Finance.
**To succeed in the role you’ll have**:
- A tertiary qualification in Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism.
- Previous work experience in similar corporate affairs/communication roles or consultancies
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and execute integrated communication campaigns
- Strong creative writer and editor, able to simplify complex concepts into clear, accessible and relevant language
- Experience in energy or other large, technical oriented organisations an advantage
- Use of Adobe suite of tools (InDesign, Photoshop etc.)
- Participation (or strong exposure) to issues / crisis management.
