The opportunity to join our team

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Government Relations & Corporate Affairs Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal managing Insignia Financial's corporate communications, and contributing to our policy and advocacy efforts. The ideal candidate will:

Participate in the formulation of Insignia Financial's policy views, engaging with internal stakeholders and industry associations, and contributing to public policy consultations Coordinate Insignia Financial representation on industry association working groups and develop centralised resources and meeting briefs Manage the crisis management communications framework and assist with planning and preparation around key business events and the corporate reporting cycle (e.g., developing content, FAQs, and speechwriting for AGM) Maintain the IFL corporate website, including writing and updating content, and project manage the annual report, preparing content for CEO and Chairman letters and editorial content Work with other members of the Corporate Affairs team to ensure effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders

What you will bring

Proven experience in the financial services industry, in a public advocacy role and corporate affairs function is highly desirable Good understanding of the political and regulatory landscape Effective time management and ability to exercise appropriate judgment and understand the reputational impact of policy positions Effective stakeholder management and project management skills Skill in interpreting and assessing complex policy reforms for commercial impacts Ability to distil complex issues into clear, concise communication Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Experience in issues and crisis management
