THE ROLE
The Manager, Aboriginal Housing, is responsible for leading a team to who will oversee and manage a wide range of Aboriginal housing initiatives, including Victoria's Big Housing Build Aboriginal stimulus packageand shape future policy and reform requirements to improve housing outcomes for Aboriginal Victorians. The Manager is also responsible for collaborating with areas across Homes Victoria, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, government, and external stakeholders to ensure reforms are consistent with broader Government priorities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
*
- Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet, and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Support continuous improvement and ensure alignment to leading practise in the areas of project management and escalating critical risks/exceptions where required.
- Develop policy initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
