**About the Role**:
Within this role you will lead school AIP strategy of Successful Students, Endless Opportunities, Empowered Communities.Faculty strategy including improvement strategies, meetings, faculty promotion and innovation.Teach 1 line curriculum and teach intervention as required in school timetablePromote school identity and culture, inclusive of
- presentation, conduct, organisation, routines and procedures
- leading assemblies for year level and whole school (on rotational basis)
- acknowledgement and celebration of student success
- wellbeing and relationships
- attendance
- positive behaviour for learning

**Strategic**:

- Information sessions and induction programs
- Primary school visits and transition programs
- Schoolwide PBL
- Set and Jet Planning Strategy
- Curriculum and Assessment
- Formalise and implement a synchronous and responsive BCC wellbeing curriculum underpinned by PERMAH and PBL
- Provide teacher professional development and resources to support them to deliver weekly BCC lessons (pastoral care)
- Facilitate student access to guaranteed and viable curriculum through inclusion in cohort
- Develop individualised strategies to improve student performance
- Collaborate with HOSES, Faculty HODS and teachers and share information and strategies for success

**People and Pedagogy**:

- Support staff, students and parents by encouraging development of a positive and inclusive learning environment within and beyond the classroom
- Build productive relationships with parents and engage them to support student learning
- Build capacity of teachers to promote an understanding of wellbeing
- Engage in collegial observations and feedback
- Visit classes on a formal and informal basis
- Responsible for year level coordinator PDP
- Case manage students of cohort with regards to attendance, behaviour, performance or wellbeing concerns
- Formulate proactive plans for student performance in consultation with stakeholders
- Respond to incident reports, academic and behavioural in line with student code of conduct
- Lead management of serious breaches of Student Code of Conduct
- Investigate and resolve high level behaviour incidents
- Collaborate with student support services on case managed and complex case students
- Enforcement of attendance letters as per attendance policy

**Data and Reporting**:

- Identify and analyse year level performance data to inform support required, strategic planning, student case management and referrals
- Communication of insights and information from data analysis to Faculty HODs to inform planning and performance activities
- Support and implement PBL ideals and respond to PBL data related to cohort
- Collaborate and consult with year level Deputy Principal to implement innovations appropriate to cohort trends and development
- Reinforcement of school leadership team information to teachers and year level coordinator
- Manage finance, budget and purchasing for cohort events, activities and excursions
- Assist transition of students by facilitating composition of classes for following year
