**Requirements**:

- Have formal tertiary qualifications in an appropriate area of study
- Hold membership of appropriate professional associations
- Have exceptional interpersonal skills, intellectually and emotionally intelligent
- Be consultative, articulate and engaging
- Engage effectively with parents, staff, and students to build relationships across the broader community
- Deal with staff, students and all school stakeholders with honesty and integrity
- Have a demonstrable record of achievement in a same or similar role
- Be familiar with the most recent educational research including positive psychology and an appreciation of contemporary competencies and capabilities
- Have an outward-looking focus and an open-mindedness to innovation and change
- Possess high-level organisational, administrative, time management skills and meticulous attention to detail
