About the Role

The Account Manager represents JAS Oceania which is a major national wholesaler of Automotive Rotating Electrical, Air-Conditioning, Accessories and Lighting products. JAS is a part of the automotive aftermarket industry and specifically focuses on servicing the Auto Electrical sector.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Build, maintain and grow customer relationships to best support the customer and selling of JAS products in the Sydney, North Shore and surrounding.
- Develop and maintain a regular customer call plan.
- Highlight promotional material, new products and specials to customers.
- Monitoring and managing Inventory for optimum line fill and stock turns.
- Ensuring all customers in allocated territory are seen on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly cycle.
- Prepare monthly sales reports on customer spend utilising Phocas reporting.
- Daily usage and maintenance of the customer CRM program.
- Ensuring Account Manager targets are met or exceeded along with gross margin/profit

About you
- You will have proven experience in a similar sales role where you have built, grown and maintained strong customer relationships.
- A background in the automotive electrical and or mechanical field is preferred.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to make new contacts, plus proven negotiating and conflict resolution experience.
- Must have a full current driver’s licence (no restrictions).
- This role will require regular monthly travel (approx. 3 - 4 times per month)
