**About the Role**:
The purpose of this position is to work as part of the Directorate administration team, provide high level administrative support to BPS programs and to the Auslan program administrator, working in a flexible and collegiate manner to ensure that the institutes policies and procedures are followed, efficient and effective student administration is provided and dealings with employees and the public is professionally undertaken.

Work as part of a team and independently that provides administrative support to BPS courses.

**Duties**:

- Assist in the administration of the Student Life Cycle within the Foundation Directorate, including managing trainees and employer inquiries, Auslan interpreter booking management, enrolments, amendments, completions, and other student administrative requirements.
- Provide proficient use of software such as Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, CELCAT, and the Student Management System (STRATA), and assist with ad hoc room bookings.
- Provide secretarial, administrative, and reception duties, and assist in maintaining quality and information systems relevant to the operational needs of the Foundation Directorate and BPS team.
- Communicate effectively with prospective and current students to provide course information, advice, and enrolment support.
- Provide high-level administrative support to BPS programs, including correspondence, meeting administration, event hosting support, resource and database maintenance, reporting, and assistance with purchasing orders.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Appropriate vocational or other qualifications and/or extensive experience in administrative support roles.
- Demonstrated high standard of administrative and organizational skills, including skills in document presentation, database maintenance using Microsoft software particularly Word and Excel, filing, and administrative systems maintenance.
- Experience in or ability to undertake proficient use of systems relating to the student life cycle and apprenticeship data if appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability, commitment, and attitude to the provision of high-level interpersonal skills to enable effective communication and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to use tact, diplomacy, and capacity to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, Quality Assurance, and Continuous improvement.
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee) - mandatory.
- Current National Police Check - mandatory.
