**About the role**

The Buying Assistant’s job is to manage the sourcing, development, documentation and execution of purchase orders and logistic bookings, while maintaining effective and timely communication between suppliers, head office, warehouse and other stakeholders along the supply chain.

Reporting to our Supply Manager, the key responsibilities of the position include;
- Merchandise product sourcing and new product development
- Purchasing and supplier relationships
- Logistics and freight coordination and tracking
- Product information management, and
- Administration and reporting to assist the Supply Manager and the sourcing team

**About you**
- Tertiary level qualification in supply chain management or a related degree.
- Commercially minded with exceptionally strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisation and administration skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail, and
- Passionate about home cooking
