Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation that has been serving the community for over 20 years. They are currently seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join their team in Hobart. They provide aged care, community and disability services for the whole state and are continuing to develop and grow.
**Your new role**
As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors, managing reception duties, and performing administrative tasks. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and your duties will include:
- Greeting clients and visitors, and directing them to the appropriate staff member.
- Managing the reception area, ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times.
- Performing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Assisting with the coordination of events and meetings.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
**What you’ll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in similar administration or customer service roles and have excellent communication skills. You will also need:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
