**About the role**:
Our Manager of Legal and Compliance leads the City’s legal, governance and risk management function, setting the tone for the City’s appetite to risk and legislative compliance. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and working closely with our Executive and Elected Members, the role will be responsible for the provision of complex legal and governance advice and the fostering of strong and collaborative partnerships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.

**About YOU**

To be the successful applicant, you will**:

- Have a tertiary qualification in Law and admitted to practice Law in the Supreme Court
- Be a sound conceptual and critical thinker with well-developed problem solving skills
- Have the skills to communicate and build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Have demonstrated experience in leading teams that have a compliance focus
