The Manufacturing Business Unit is industry’s innovation partner, working together to transform and build sovereign capability by developing new processes, materials and products. CSIRO Manufacturing employs over 550 staff across 5 states with the majority of the team based at Lindfield in Sydney and Clayton in Melbourne.
The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high level administrative support to the Director and other senior stakeholders in the BU. The EA will prioritise commitments, follow through on issues to successful resolution, coordinate timely responses to requests, collect and analyse information, and plan and facilitate the effective operation of the Director’s office. Beyond day-to-day management of the administration needs of the Director, the EA will work as a key member of the Manufacturing leadership team and as time permits, also lead or contribute to projects such as coordination of stakeholders, staff engagement, conducting desktop research, gathering information, writing reports and project scheduling.
**Your duties will include**:
- Providing efficient and effective diary management, including arranging meetings and appointments on behalf of the Director, and managing all domestic and overseas travel arrangements.
- Providing systematic and dependable follow up of issues and tasks and ensuring they are handled in a timely fashion.
- Assisting in meeting set-up and arrangements including scheduling of events, minutes taking and preparation of papers and presentations, as required.
- Drafting straightforward responses to incoming correspondence.
- Establishing and maintaining electronic document management systems in accordance with CSIRO's record management standards.
- Maintaining effective professional relationships with external stakeholders on behalf of the Business Unit.
- Other duties as directed.

**Salary**:AU$89k - AU$101k plus up to 15.4% superannuation

**To be considered you will need**:
- Relevant certificate/diploma and/or equivalent relevant work experience providing high level administrative support.
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated by extensive experience establishing and maintaining positive internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in providing executive assistance to a Senior Manager or an Executive in a fast paced and complex environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise demands, proactively resolve and/or escalate matters so they are managed in a timely manner.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, as well as sharing resources to accomplish objectives.
