This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to undertake analysis, develop policy and engage strategically with key stakeholders to improve social and affordable housing outcomes for Victorians, as part of the Victorian Government's Big Housing Build.
The Policy and Project Officer, Local Government Partnerships will join a high performing team that are leading Homes Victoria's strategic engagement with local government. You will build trusting relationships with local government stakeholders, develop policy advice and develop strategies and platforms for engagement to support Homes Victoria to establish and maintain a strong, collaborative partnership with the local government sector. The partnership will provide for strategic collaboration and shared purpose between Homes Victoria and local governments to identify local and regional priorities for social and affordable housing growth.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Contribute to the development and provision of strategic partnerships with local governments of advice and sound policy recommendations to senior management and government.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the social and affordable housing compact between Homes Victoria and the local government sector.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities including scheduling and coordinating meetings and workshops, preparing agendas and minutes, distribution of meeting papers and follow up of actions arising from meetings.
