**What you will be doing**:
An exciting opportunity has become available on a Full Time Permanent Assignment at Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital for an experienced Administration Officer.
- Undertake dental reception
- Operate Oral Health Call Centre
- Data entry duties and general clerk responsibilities
- Create and update Patient Records and make appointments
- Provide general administrative support to facility staff, dental officers and managers

An eligibility list may be created for future vacancies.

**Selection Criteria to be Addressed**:

- Demonstrated experience dealing with a high volume of clients face to face.
- Demonstrated experience dealing with a high volume of clients over the telephone.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining health record systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of either medical and or dental terminology.
- Ability to problem solve and use initiative.
- Demonstrated experience with electronic appointment scheduling for clients, including rebooking, confirming and rescheduling and other data entry skills.
- Proven organisational and decision based skills and the ability to meet deadlines, with limited supervision.
