**About our Team**
ASD is entering an exciting phase of growth, innovation and transformation. Our agency has committed to delivering REDSPICE, which is the most significant single investment in the Australian Signals Directorate’s 75 years.

The Strategic Intelligence Assessments (SIA) team, within ASD’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), provides all-source, strategic assessments on current and future cybersecurity threats to Australia.

Adopting a multi-disciplinary approach, the team seeks to understand adversaries’ intentions and capabilities, and forecast their future activities.

It also examines how Australia’s cyber adversaries are adapting their tradecraft in the ever-changing cyberspace landscape. SIA’s timely, high-quality assessments help inform ASD and broader government decision making on how to protect Australia from a range of state and non-state malicious cyber actors.

SIA workforce is distributed across multiple sites in Australia. We are looking for personnel able to work out of our Canberra or Melbourne offices.

We are looking for curious and collaborative individuals who are motivated to understand complicated and challenging issues that affect Australia’s cyber security landscape.

Further, successful applicants will:

- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Be interested in learning about the technical, military and geo-strategic issues related to cyber security;
- Be adept at building and maintaining effective relationships;
- Possess high-level communication (both written and oral) skills; and
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills who works well under pressure.

There are no mandatory requirements to be eligible for an intelligence assessment analyst position.

Previous experience or expertise in cyber operations or cyber security is desirable, but not required.
