Marketing & Events Coordinator
- Balcatta

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Balcatta Viva Photography Studio. Reporting to our Rockingham Studio Owner, you will be responsible for developing successful relationships with local businesses, coordinating and attending local events, and working with management to achieve marketing goals for the studio.

Flexible hours. 1-2 days a week based in our Balcatta studio with the opportunity for growth. Opportunities for additional administrative hours if desired. Must be able to attend events on weekends and nights when required.

The role will include:

- Researching, organising and attending local events such as markets, expos, and quiz nights including recruiting and managing a small promotional team if required.
- Develop relationships with local businesses and community groups to achieve mutual goals including brand collaborations and sponsorships.
- Coordinate and manage all promotional materials needed for events with head office and the Balcatta studio including signs, banners, flyers, branded collateral etc.
- Working closely with the photography team to maintain the Viva Balcatta Facebook page including scheduling posts and promoting local events.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers such as printers for local area marketing initiatives.

To be Successful in this role you will need:

- To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in promotions, retail, event marketing or business development.
- Enthusiasm and high energy to consistently be self-motivated
- Must have driver’s license and a vehicle able to transport event set up material.
- High level of organisational and time management skills
