- Initiate, manage, plan and develop the strategic direction of the Applications and Information Business Unit (AIBU), including financial, physical, human, information and other resources.We are a diverse and inclusive workplace that understands the importance of flexibility. **Duties**:

- Initiate, coordinate and manage the planning, development and strategic direction of AIBU to ensure the provision of business, management, systems, policies and services aligned with Agency, State and National directions.
- Manage, participate and coordinate National, State and Agency projects, including defining, high level planning, supervising and coordinating, as well as understanding tasks associated with the implementation of significant projects.
- Manage the stakeholder / customer liaison strategies on behalf of Registration & Licensing Services (R&LS) in relation to the MRS. Represent the Agency on appropriate National and Whole-of-Government committees and liaise with industry users and other Government Agencies, and undertake high level correspondence, reports and briefing materials to the Minister, Secretary and senior departmental officers.
- Initiate and develop, in consultation with Business Unit Managers, appropriate management strategies, policies and systems to ensure improvement in efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the MRS.
- Provide high-level consultative advice on the resolution of complex issues.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or commensurate experience.
