As a Senior Spatial Information Officer, you will work closely with data managers, maintenance, and client services areas to develop projects from inception to completion and implementation. Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality outputs and provide authoritative advice, services, and solutions related to standard series and specialist map production, design, GIS, and application development activities.

Requirements
  • An Advanced/Associate Diploma in Applied Science, or equivalent level, in a Spatial Sciences related discipline, as provided by either a university, a vocational education organisation, or a registered and accredited training provider. Or extensive demonstrated experience, eight years or more, working directly in the field of Mapping and GIS providing high quality outputs.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
