**Kelvin Grove State College is made up of three sub-schools**: Junior, Middle and Senior.
- Junior School - Years Prep to 5 (approx. 810 students)
- Middle School - Year 6 to 9 (approx. 1,550 students)
- Senior School - Years 10 to 12 (approx. 1,370 students)

**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Work closely with the Year 8 Deputy Principal to support the academic, social-emotional and wellbeing of the cohort.
- Collaborate, lead, and manage as required, to work as part of the Middle School Team to plan for cohort and College events.
- Be an active member of the collective Heads of Year team, led by the Deputy Principal of Holistic Education.
- Manage responsibilities relating to student wellbeing, attendance, engagement, behaviour and leadership.
- Lead the development, coordination and implementation of the pastoral care program.
- Actively participate in curriculum delivery with a teaching load of one line.

The Head of Year role is suitable for dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic individual, who has the ability to lead agendas to support student outcomes, and work collaboratively and respectfully within a team, and with the broader community.
