The Opportunity
The Incubation & Community Lead is a key strategic role within the Digital Incubation & Growth (DIG) team, responsible for building and maintaining a thriving innovation ecosystem at Bupa. This role acts as a liaison between the DIG team and business stakeholders to drive innovation within Bupa to help it transform for the future.
Using exceptional workshop facilitation, communication and collaboration skills, this role focuses on uplifting innovation at Bupa through supporting programs to educate and inspire our people to find their inner entrepreneur. The Incubation and Community Lead is also responsible for updating and maintaining the tools, learning materials and communication channels for DIG. Programs this role manages or supports includes the Innovation Community of Practice, Bupa’s sustainability start-up program eco-Disruptive and the b-Disruptive hackathon.
This role also acts as the key driver of innovation activity and the bridge between the business and DIG Team to ensure Bupa is prioritising the right initiatives into the incubation process which will drive maximum value for our customers and the business. The role will require the seniority and stakeholder management skills to engage directly with a diverse range of stakeholders across Bupa.
About You
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years experience working in an Agile delivery environment including: Establishing or managing adherence to relevant processes and ceremonies and different approaches to initiative assessment and prioritisation
- Solid knowledge and experience in the discovery and experimentation phase of product development.
- The ability to communicate, facilitate, collaborate and influence - and know when to use each.
- Experience working across multiple streams in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
- An analytical focus with an appreciation of data analysis, commercial drivers, business viability and technical feasibility.
- A mix of Agile, Lean and HCD approaches and are familiar with a range of digital tools and frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
