**About Them**:
Founded over ten years ago, my client is a multi-award-winning specialist construction management firm with capabilities spanning a broad range of sectors. Some of these sectors include commercial workspaces, EOT, capital projects, industrial, façade, remedial, heritage, hotels, hospitality and retail.
My client have capabilities to manage projects of varying scales and disciplines ranging from $10 million to smaller scale fitouts.
Due to growth my client are now seeking a switched on Accounts Administration Officer to join the team
**The Role**:
Reporting into the the company Accountant and General Manager you will be responsible for everything below
**_Accounts_**
- Register all AP invoices into accounting system (JOBPAC)
- process subcontractor payment schedules
- Subcontract and supplier payment runs
- Monthly creditor accounts reconciliations
- Reconcile AP ledger monthly
- Reconciling credit and debit cards
**_Accounts Receivable/ Payable_**
- Raise debtor progress claims
- Certify debtor progress claims
- Raise debtor tax invoices
- Reconcile AR ledger monthly
- Review AR Ledger and advise management of any late payments
**_Payroll_**
- Manage weekly and fortnightly payroll cycle for all staff members
- Payroll tax calculation, submission and reconciliation
- Reconciling leave entitlements including costs from payroll ledger to GR
- PAYG BAS submissions and reconciliation
- Reconciling ATO BAS payroll PAYG and post adjusting JNL
- Process any other allowances and deductions as required
- Superannuation
- Manager superannuation entitlements from payroll ledger to General Ledger
**_Fixed Assets_**
- Maintain fixed assets schedule
- Reconcile fixed assets schedule to general ledger
**_Banking_**
- Complete Bank reconciliations daily
- Administer CDAs
- Load payments
- Maintain Bank Guarantee registers
**_ATO_**
- BAS submission including GST, payroll, PAYG, company tax PAYG
- Ensure cost are correctly allocated for FBT purposes
- Reconciling ATO BAS GST and post adjusting journal ONL.
**_You'll Need:_**
At least 2-3 years experience in Accounts and knowledge across AP/AR and payroll
Exposure to the construction industry
Experience with JOBPAC would be highly desirable however not essential, however at least knowledge across similar CRMs and tech savvy
Strong communication skills
Can do attitude
Team player
