MAYDAY Recruitment is currently searching for a dedicated
**Administration and Accounts Assistant** to join a reputable and dynamic insurance brokerage firm committed to providing top-notch services to clients.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid grasp of analytical and numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.

You will have a crucial role in managing daily accounts and administration tasks, ensuring the smooth operations of the company.

**The role**:

- Providing essential support to the Accounts and Administration team
- Process accounts payable and receivable accurately, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations, generate debtors reports, and contribute to financial reporting.
- Enter financial data into systems, manage digital filing for accounts and assist with budget reporting.
- Handle general administrative tasks related to accounts
- Work effectively within the team, report progress, and contribute to process enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry news, attend training sessions, and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Contributing to the overall success of the company by ensuring financial tasks are executed effectively
- Will have around 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Certificate III in Business Administration preferred but not required.
- Basic bookkeeping skills for accounts receivable and payable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with budget monitoring and expense management.
- Proficiency in computer systems and relevant software, typing speed of approximately 45 to 75 wpm
