**Job description**:
DFP Perth is excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Procurement Administrator (Level 3) to work with one of our esteemed government clients based in Perth CBD. This role entails a full-time commitment on a 6-month initial contract, with potential for extension.

**About the role**:

- Maintain exceptional communication with suppliers, clients, and staff, upholding a standard of excellence in customer service.
- Collaborate with the Manager to manage queries and complaints from both internal and external customers.
- Process purchase orders and receipts to ensure seamless acquisition of supplies and services as needed.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures for effective management services.
- Maintain filing systems, manuals, and office records for smooth workflow.
- Prepare and compile information to support the creation of statistical and management reports.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven experience in administration roles, particularly in procurement.
- Possess strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven experience in financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, is essential.
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Previous involvement in tender management and procurement enhancement policies.
- Experience in a Health service setting and/or stores environment is desirable.
