To support this vision, the Department is seeking a Skills Lead, Digital Strategy to lead the evaluation and uplift of digital capability in students, teachers, leaders and staff across the state. Working closely with a range of stakeholders across the department, the Skills Lead will play a fundament role in the successful delivery of the Department’s _Digital Strategy 2023-2026_.

In partnership with relevant central divisions, the Skills Lead, Digital Strategy, will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of tailored learning programs that meet the needs of a large and complex organisation, and will work to ensure that students and staff are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to operate effectively in a digital world.

**The key responsibilities of this role**:

- Lead and undertake the analysis of digital skills of students, teachers, and staff across South Australia.
- Manage the design and delivery of training programs that promote student and staff engagement and allow for multi-layered skill development and uplift.
- Build cross functional networks to influence and grow the commitment to capability development across the organisation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization.
- Oversee the establishment and ongoing delivery of high-quality learning programs that reflect the digital capability requirements.

**Key requirements to be successful in this role**:

- Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing learning and development models, frameworks, systems and processes in a complex multi-disciplinary workforce.
- Strong project management skills including planning, communication, stakeholder engagement, execution and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under broad direction, effectively manage high volumes of work and deliver required outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, influencing skills and key stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy and rapidly changing environment.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Vaccination status must be disclosed and provided for sighting on request.
