The Product Owner is responsible for leading, managing and overseeing the continued development of key ICT platforms within the Support and Inclusion division which are critical to business operations and service reform.

Initially commencing with the Support360 Salesforce solution, the role acts as product owner to lead, influence and facilitate solution adoption and the alignment of the system against critical business requirements, issues, and objectives from across the department’s Student Support Services sites.

The Product Owner plays a key role in ensuring continued ICT systems reform and continuous improvement within the Support and Inclusion division including working closely with executives, service leads and ICT to facilitate and deliver business innovation and efficiency.

The role is also responsible for maximising the value and functionality of ICT platforms to the business and advocating for Support and Inclusion when engaging with technical teams in the design and implementation of solutions.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Significant experience in working alongside ICT teams, delivering expert advice to senior staff in relation to options and risks, ensuring the introduction of new technologies and systems changes are embedded within the organisation.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain networks, and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
- Significant experience initiating, delivering, and evaluating business engagement programs and services.
- Comprehensive and contemporary knowledge of organisational change management principles and practices and ICT project management methodologies and detailed knowledge of relevant Government policy and Department procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of contemporary ICT systems and platforms, including their capabilities and benefits when integrated into business processes.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred but not essential.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
