Key responsibilities will include:

- Use knowledge on RTO standards and training packages to analyse VET products and RTO practices and provide evidence-based recommendations to improve the quality of VET delivered to school students
- Collaborate across Student Pathways and Careers division to enable the best outcomes for secondary school students and provide expert advice on VET that is informed by a robust understanding of the elements of the VET environment
- Develop strategic advice for registered training organisations, to promote VET delivered to school students and provide quality assurance programs to continuously improve the delivery of VET for school students.
- Conduct desktop audits of VET delivered to school students to ensure delivery meets SPC benchmarks
- Provide expert and timely advice, high level briefings and reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities for the consideration of management and executive level staff.
- Plan, develop, implement, and monitor audit and compliance programs, activities, policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**:
***Desirable**: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7: $104,938 - $113,435.
