HOBAN Recruitment is currently partnering with a respected **VIC Local Council **in the search for a highly capable individual to join as a **Business Support Officer **located in **Bellfield, VIC**.
**What's in it for you**:
- 3-month assignment, opportunity for contract to be extended
- $38.29 per hour + super
- Located in Bellfield, VIC
- 24 hours per week, 3 - 4 days per week
**About the role**:
- To provide efficient and effective administration and support to the Parks and Natural Environment.
- To contribute to a supportive and enthusiastic team environment.
- To provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- To meet the customer service response time as per Council's Customer Service Charter.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative assistance and support to the Manager, Coordinators, Team Leaders and staff including preparation and processing of:
- Agendas / Minutes to meetings
- Reports
- Assisting with Event Permits
- Other administrative activities
- Respond to enquiries on all aspects of Parks & Natural Environment operations. Provide efficient, professional, and courteous advice, information and follow up.
- Attend to counter enquiries / deliveries
- Prepare Agendas, minute taker in Meetings & distribute accordingly.
- Accurately record customer service requests through Council's Authority CRM and any other Council system.
- Responsible for record keeping using Council's CM9 Records Management system and Workflow Portal.
- Assist in the purchase of stationery / office equipment or any other purchases under the direction of the Business Support Team Leader.
- Responsible for updating the Parks and Natural Environment Information Boards and Electronic Notice Board.
- Undertake general office administration duties and projects as required to support the Manager, Business Support Team Leader, Coordinators and Team Leaders.
- Petty Cash Reconciliation
- Assist in emergency response activities.
- Other relevant duties as directed by the Business Support Team Leader.
**Qualifications and experience**:
- Driver's license is desirable.
- Industry based relevant post-secondary qualifications would be highly regarded and/or knowledge and skills through on-the-job training.
- National Police Check required prior to commencement of assignment
- Working With Children Check required prior to commencement of assignment
