**About the role**:
The Hills Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Customer Services Team as a Training and Coaching Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the creation and maintenance of training material and plans, plus the delivery of coaching and training for staff within the customer service branch. The role is also involved in the daily direct delivery of the full range of council services through council's multi-channeled customer service branch, handling enquiries in face to face, call centre, back office, and mail room environments. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the professional development of our employees and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

**Duties include**:

- Provide mentoring and coaching to team members.
- Process customer transactions and resolve customer phone and online enquiries.
- Implement council/service procedures.
- Conduct training needs analysis for the team and action training requirements.
- Coordinate the implementation of new technology systems and/or processes.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. A Cert IV in Training & Assessment or related field.
2. Experience in a similar role [3 years].
3. Professional written and verbal communication skills.
4. Experience developing, implementing, and facilitating training programs and material.
5. Significant demonstrated experience in the delivery of Local Government services.
