**About the Role**

An exciting position has become available for the **Administration Front of House Manager** to oversee the administration department of the Bookings & Admissions team. Enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate proven experience in a management role, a commitment to patient care and customer service are encouraged to apply.

As the Administration Front of House Manager your responsibilities will include:

- Oversee hospital administration function in areas such as:

- Pre-admission and discharge of patients
- Financial consent management including private health funding eligibility, patient accounts, billings, debtors collection and accounts payable
- Manage rosters, staffing and supervision of staff including reception, pre-admissions, discharges, billing and theatre bookings,
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records via Webpas and various software
- Handle enquiries and resolve complaints - Lead and provide excellent internal and external customer satisfaction by leading an exceptional service to patients, families, VMOs, staff, third party providers and all visitors attending the hospital, and providing prompt and professional assistance in accordance to Healthscope’s policies and processes and Code of Conduct.
- Perform process review and ongoing change management - Lead and maintain efficient hospital administration workflow processes in line with OneHealthscope best practices (i.e. patient booking, admission, discharge, billing and collections) to meet KPI and financial targets by ensuring timely processes are adhered to, patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained, appropriate completion of financial documentation, and partnership and effective communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement Healthscope’s quality improvement frameworks and support the achievement of accreditation by identifying the department quality improvement plan, engaging staff on improvements projects and audits to monitor compliance, participating in relevant meetings and committees, and reviewing relevant policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain a high-performing Administration Department that delivers results and ensures success by visibly leading a values and safety-led workplace culture. Provide coaching, training and supervision and conduct performance conversations with staff. Deliver the daily management of workforce planning and ensure the Work Safety and Health & Wellbeing practices are adhered to.
- Support VMO partners by building and maintaining positive working relationships ensuring that they adopt the hospital’s administration processes and ways of working. Grow our Business:

- Deliver commercial outcomes and operational efficiencies by leveraging data to proactively manage and identify, maintain and improve hospital administration performance and workflows in line with OneHealthscope best practices (including booking, patient admission, discharge, billing and collections).

**Selection Criteria**:

- Administration Qualifications in Front-line Management or Certificate IV in Business Management (or working towards)
- Demonstrated experience and a strong working knowledge of the private health fund claiming process
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous managerial experience in overseeing the running of a department including staff training, reporting and data analysis
- Strong team management and conflict management skills
- Experience in hospital/patient management software systems (Webpas)
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
