An opportunity is now available for an Endpoint Device Lead to join our team to manage the lifecycle of UniSQ endpoint devices from a software perspective, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and delivering an exceptional user experience across the University.

You’re a proactive ICT professional with a passion for improving the end-user experience and optimising ICT environments. You’re also collaborative with strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.

**What you'll do**

You will oversee the entire lifecycle of UniSQ endpoint devices from a software perspective, ensuring optimal performance, security and sustainability. You will work closely with the Proactive Services Manager and Asset Management Lead to coordinate the efforts of a small team of specialists who will focus on proactive service delivery across all ICT systems and processes.

Your initial key priorities will include:

- Working with current ICT team members to evaluate and optimise a future SOE for UniSQ, including Windows 11 and Mac operating systems.
- Identifying avenues for improvement with management and deployment of UniSQ Computer Labs, focusing on optimisation, utilisation and metrics to inform future decisions.
- Taking a lead role in evaluating the RDP Lab and Turbo virtual lab solutions, focusing on resilience, reporting and maximising utilisation for our staff and student cohort.

**What will help you succeed**

Together with your relevant computing qualification, you will have proven experience in the provision of hardware and software support services in a large organisation. You will also have:

- Proven experience in the planning, design, deployment and updating of a Windows and Mac SOE or MOE in a large organisation.
- Expertise with deployment tools such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Jamf, and PowerShell.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, manage projects, and implement process improvements.

**If based at our Springfield or Ipswich campus, there will be a requirement to travel to the Toowoomba campus 1 to 2 times per week*.**

**Term**: Full-time continuing appointment (36 hours/week)

**Salary**: Total remuneration range $129,036 to $148,172 pa (includes salary range of $109,029 to $125,198 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
