What would you be doing as a Neurosensory Audiologist?

A highly varied caseload working closely with local ENTs to provide specialist diagnostic, paediatric and adult audiological assessments. Help clients with their hearing and balance problems by providing professional recommendations about most suitable rehabilitation options and to address the client’s difficulties, lifestyle, management abilities and budget. Perform clinical assessments in-line with current best practice and the Company’s clinical protocols and communicate assessment results and subsequent recommendations. Meet our clients’ needs, wherever possible, through providing appropriate and professional advice, services and devices. Offering counselling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss management and communication strategies. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Take part in professional development and training to maintain current and diverse knowledge in your specialist areas of audiology.

What do you need to be successful?

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in adult rehabilitation. A relevant qualification in Audiology. Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain). Must have full membership with an appropriate professional body and a Certificate of Clinical Practice (CCP). Solid audiological skills and knowledge. Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience. A commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships with our clients, and achieving the highest standards in audiological care. An understanding of, and commitment to, ensuring the commercial success of the business. A desire to support other members of your team, and nurture an inclusive and enthusiastic culture in the region. Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Dedication to staying updated with industry advancements.
