**Job Title: Strategic Advocacy Adviser**
**Contract Length: 9 months**

**Role Overview**: Our client, a recognized leader in the public sector, is seeking a motivated and skilled Strategic Advocacy Adviser to join their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the council's advocacy role and taking ownership of all advocacy, grant, and partnership opportunities for the council. This unique opportunity allows you to lead an expanded function and create a working approach that will leave a lasting legacy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development of a comprehensive advocacy framework and business plan, working closely with external consultants. Manage the process from sourcing quotes to ensuring contract deliverables and timelines are met.
- Create a regular partnership advocacy booklet to showcase funding opportunities and strengthen the organisation's partnerships.
