**Project Officer**
- _Salary: $74,580 - $90,558 (Plus Superannuation)_

**The Role**

The Project Officer will provide direct support to the respective Managers, team members and the wider Performance and Governance Branch. Key Accountabilities include:

- Provide a comprehensive range of project support services to the risk and insurance team
- Manage the relationship with the department's enterprise risk management platform
- Compile and present complex information to decision-makers and key stakeholders
- Independently perform project work within the team
- Coordinate responses and facilitate internal communication processes
- Proactively resolve problems and provide customer service to key stakeholders
- Initiate improvements, plan own work program to achieve outcomes

**The Team**

The position of Project Officer forms a part of the Corporate Services Group, Performance and Governance Branch and Audit and Assurance Unit. This Branch provides oversight of operational activities and business functions, delivering strategic projects, and developing departmental guidance and frameworks to enhance the performance of the Corporate Services group and the department. The branch also facilitates high-quality reporting and business planning to contribute to informed decision making across the department.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will require a ‘can do' attitude and demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality services, enjoy working as part of a team to support strategic priorities and continuous improvement.

Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, the ability to build and maintain effective relationship with stakeholders and IT proficiency are also requirements of the role.
