**Our client, a global leader in power system modeling, simulation, and analysis software, is seeking a results-driven National Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. Their innovative solutions empower industries to optimize power systems for efficiency and reliability.**

The National Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in our client's growth strategy, leading sales efforts within Australia. This senior-level position involves strategic leadership, fostering client relationships, and managing a team of skilled sales professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Strategy**: Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with our client's growth objectives, identifying key market segments and opportunities for expansion.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing guidance in prospecting, relationship-building, and closing deals.
- **Client Engagement**: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders, understanding their unique challenges and tailoring solutions accordingly.
- **Market Insights**: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, driving product and service enhancements.
- **Sales Performance**: Drive consistent achievement of sales targets through effective sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance measurement.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs.
- **Strategic Partnerships**: Identify and forge strategic partnerships to expand our client's market presence and maximize revenue opportunities.
- **Sales Reporting**: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, offering insights into sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; an MBA is a strong advantage.
- **Sales Leadership**: Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles within the electrical/power engineering software industry.
- **Strategic Vision**: Demonstrated ability to create and execute comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- **Team Management**: Experience leading and motivating high-performing sales teams to achieve exceptional results.
- **Industry Expertise**: Strong understanding of power system engineering principles and related industries.
- **Communication**: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- **Problem Solving**: Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to address complex customer challenges.
- **Travel**: Willingness to travel as required to engage with clients and lead the sales team effectively.
