**Student Recruitment & Admissions Coordinator - Fixed Term (6 months), Full Time (5 days per week)**
- AFTRS is the national screen and audio school - the only Australian education institution to consistently make The Hollywood Reporter‘s prestigious annual list of the top film schools in the world. Working hand-in-hand with the screen and broadcast industries, AFTRS is a global centre of excellence that delivers the highest level of screen and audio education, training and research across Australia._

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and flexibility under pressure. You will work closely with the recruitment team and will be required to represent the School at careers fairs and is the key position that takes calls and answers queries from prospective students.


**About the role**:

- **As the Student Recruitment & Admissions Coordinator at AFTRS, you will**:_
- Support the Student Admissions Lead in the facilitation of the admissions process for all award and short course intakes at AFTRS in line with governance, AQF and TEQSA protocols.
- Facilitate the manual enrolment of AFTRS for Business courses through the CRM as required.
- Work closely with the First Nations & Outreach team to ensure culturally safe admissions processes are being followed throughout the admission period.
- Work with departments across the school including Student Centre, Undergraduate, Post-Graduate and Short Courses staff to provide effective, useful and friendly customer service for prospective students.
- Ensure relevant prospective student information is captured in the school’s CRM. Work with the Head of Student Recruitment & Admissions to review data, as well as set and send both automated and tailored communications to ensure efficient customer service and relationship building.
- Conduct research on AFTRS competitors for both the award and non-award programs.
- Develop and implement communications workflows to ensure that students at different experience levels are furnished with the right information that may be provided by the Student Centre, Program Convenors or Discipline Leads.
- Support the Head of Student Recruitment & Admissions in delivering Admissions Committee Papers by required deadlines.
- Organise and attend student recruitment and information events such as Careers Fairs, school presentations, AFTRS Open Day, and other experiential events.
- Exercise relationship management and conflict resolution capabilities to ensure productive working relationships across the School.
- Create and maintain culturally and psychologically safe learning and working environments.

**About you - you have**:

- Experience in administration, student admissions or student recruitment roles within education, training or screen and arts environment.
- Experience working with CRM systems - updating records, creating, and analysing reports.
- An eye for detail and well-developed problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to large audiences.
- Proven ability to work cooperatively in a small, committed team to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Experience in creating and maintaining culturally and psychologically safe learning and working environments.

**Salary: AFTRS Level 4 ($71,196) + up to 15.4% super, and excellent benefits.**
