-Chandler Macleod is currently searching for an experienced Production/Operations Manager to manage a high volume, fast paced operation in Melbourne’s North Western suburbs. Our client is a business that is continuing to go from strength to strength, investing heavily in new technology and machinery, this business continues to remain at the forefront of their sector.Reporting through to the General Manager of Operations, you will lead and manage the entire production operation across the site.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Ensuring Health & Safety are maintained as a primary focus across the areas of people and quality.
- The strategic execution of all production activities across the site.
- The training and development of staff.
- The ongoing management of CI projects to ensure that site practices remaining at the leading edge of industry practice.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A strong technical background (relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable)
- Previous experience in the implementation and adherence to strict QS & QA policies and procedures.
- Solid commercial/financial acumen and experience in budgeting/expenditure management within a similar role.
- Highly developed leadership skills and the ability to develop a team of future talent around you.
