About the job
We’re looking for a strong brand champion with excellent commercial acumen. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of marketing initiatives as per the agreed strategy to drive growth in the Karicare portfolio in the infant milk category in Australia, New Zealand mainly, while understanding and supporting the China business.

In addition to this, the Brand Manager will champion sustainability as its core to Karicare’s positioning, and potentially lead this workstream for the business. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Targeting and Segmentation - Demonstrates strong ability to identify the right segments and targets to ensure we deliver right messages.
- Brand Strategies Development - Displays strong skills in developing robust brand strategies (especially annual brand plans) based on consumer insights, observations and commercial performance and aligning resources necessary to execute against
- ATL/BTL execution with strong digital focus. Actively work with digital team in ongoing development and optimisation of total customer journey. Lead and or participate in the development and execution of ATL and BTL communication initiatives.
- Marketing Calendar - Ownership of marketing calendar and ensure regular update and communication of activities to key areas of the business - particularly to assist in S&OP (GPS) planning.

About you
To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrable experience, contributing or leading the marketing strategy for a brand or product. You will thrive when collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and possess the ability “think big” whilst managing the day-to-day activities for the brand.

Ideally you will have:

- Minimum 2+ years FMCG consumer marketing experience.
- Tertiary Qualified - preferably in Marketing or Business.
- Exposure to brand planning and innovation.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Strong commercial experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to collaborate with a variety of different stakeholders.
- Ability to understand key profit & loss and brand health/market measures.
