We are an unlisted public company and one of five licensed banks in Australia with full direct connectivity and production capability across all domestic payment systems. Whilst the major banks leverage this capability for their consumer and business clients, our B2B model focuses on enabling other banks, fintech’s and corporates to deliver innovative and competitive payment and digital solutions to their clients and customers.
**We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to join our Marketing department in our Client, Growth and Strategy division.**
The Brand Manager will develop and deliver strategies to build Cuscal’s brand and reputation as a leader in Payments and a partner to our clients. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Brand Manager will work across all functions of Cuscal to bring our positioning statements to life and protect our brand to ensure it stays strong and authentic.
The responsibilities in this role include:
- Shape and communicate our vision and mission as well as our positioning statements to ensure they are embedded into communications as appropriate.
- Ensure that all stakeholders (e.g. Product, Client Partnerships and Business Development) include strong and meaningful value propositions aligned with the brand strategy.
- Work in partnership with other marketing channels (Events, PR, Digital) to ensure each channel best represents our brand.
- Be the key contact for any Product, Client or Executive presentations that require development of the Cuscal story and on-brand messaging.
- Own all activities that deepen internal understanding of the Cuscal brand to create brand champions.
- Conduct ongoing market brand research to determine the Cuscal brand position and to assess shifts in awareness, preference and comprehension of the brand promise.
- Measure brand equity on a regular basis to understand how the Cuscal brand is received and how we can strengthen our position.

**About You**
- Extensive brand strategy and B2B Marketing experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing brand initiatives and activities
- Proven Experience in delivering large scale corporate events (both in person and virtually), campaigns and PR activities.
- Experience in using CRM and marketing automation systems
- Proven presentation and project management skills
- Natural collaborator and can influence action and outcomes across cross-functional groups.
- Analytical and critical thinking mindset, with the ability to problem solve effectively.
- Self-assured in providing accurate results in a tight deadline driven environment.
