Our client is a market leading entertainment company based in the Melbourne CBD. In a vitally important role, our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Systems Lead to manage the implementation of a new payroll and time and attendance system. This role is an outstanding opportunity for those looking for their next challenge.

**Job Duties**

Reporting to the General Manager Finance Operations, you will be responsible for:

- The implementation of a new payroll ERP and time and attendance system (Kronos)
- Reporting to, and working in conjunction with Leadership and Management
- Assist in coordinating BAU services and duties performed by the Payroll Systems Team
- Monitor and evaluate improvements to systems and practices to improve client service delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of payroll systems and provide customer service excellence
- Manage systems maintenance by testing, documenting, and communicating all system changes
- Maintain relationships with the Application Service Providers and ensure Service Level Agreement adherence
- Assist with the overall system security and Users’ access
- Work with external vendors, such as payroll service providers and software vendors, to ensure seamless integration and functionality
- Ensure system integrity

The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar payroll systems role, along with the following skills and attributes:

- Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of payroll functions, procedures, and processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industrial awards, Acts, Regulations, and enterprise bargain agreements
- High level of personal work output, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to handle complex payroll and award interpretation issues
- Ability to maintain a customer service focus under pressure
- Ability to delegate appropriately and monitor outcomes
