We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Wellbeing Specialist to join our Behaviour and Specialist Programs Team in Catholic Education.

About the Role

This permanent part-time position involves delivering high-level therapeutic case management, consultation, and support to students with complex and challenging behaviours. You will work collaboratively with school teams, other wellbeing specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide a holistic approach to student support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) model
  • Responding to referrals from school counsellors for intensive support of identified students and their families
  • Managing a caseload of varying degrees of complexity
  • Delivering intensive therapeutic case management
  • Collaborating with schools and professionals to support students with complex behaviours
  • Engaging with families to strengthen home-school partnerships

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum three years' experience as a registered Psychologist or Social Worker
  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health needs of children and young people
  • Experience in complex case management, counselling, and assessment
  • Capacity to make a significant contribution to student welfare and wellbeing
