**Carnival Australia is excited to announce**: We are hiring a Key Account Manager to join our Cunard sales team. Based in our office in Chatswood, Sydney, reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role is responsible for managing a portfolio of key Cunard accounts. Working in partnership with each key account to develop and deliver strategic business, covering training, engagement, marketing and other initiatives to deliver sales revenue targets.

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Manages a portfolio of established key agent partners, maintaining and building long term partnerships.
- Develop and deliver strong business relationships and business plans to maximise sales and engagement.
- Work in partnership with key accounts to create mutually beneficially business plans, including budget forecasts, advertising and promotional plans and revenue targets.
- Drive growth and revenue performance through reporting and regular commercial engagement with account management teams.
- Ensure rapid growth through engaging multiple levels of the trade account businesses - this includes working with product and management staff on strategic plans, all the way through training plans and incentives for frontline agents.
- Present regularly at key trade and consumer events, audiences ranging from small to mid-sized.
- Key focus on training and engagement, ensuring all travel agents have the knowledge, skills and confidence to sell Cunard.
- Provide regular performance updates to internal team members, ensuring stakeholders can support account growth.
- Market education and promotion of new and existing sales tools.
- Work with international offices on a remote basis, to gain new skills, tools and share best practice to engage trade partners.
- Identify new trade partnership opportunities to broaden our distribution and services to existing clients through the sales tools.

You are confident working with and interpreting data, translating it into findings offering ideas for the business to make the best commercial decisions. You are resilient, driven and demonstrate a high level of customer focus with commercial acumen and a focus on achieving results, with negotiation skills and ability to close the deal. You will have strong internal relationship building skills, with the ability to work with peers across multiple disciplines within a matrix structure. You are a confident public speaker and enjoy the opportunity to present to broad audiences. **To be successful, we'd love to hear from people with**:

- 3-5 years' relationship-sales experience preferably in the travel or Tourism industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and a focus on achieving results within broad-based travel agency accounts and/or distribution systems.
- Strong business management and planning skills - financial acumen (forecasting and budgeting), marketing savvy, operational excellence, attention to detail.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to close the deal.
- Strong communication working cross functionally across senior stakeholders to develop and deliver strategic objectives.
- Intermediate MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel and work outside of business hours, with days away from home.
- Valid passport and vaccination due to travel requirements.
