Our client is a well-known global ASX listed company with a strong market presence. Due to growth, an opportunity exists for a self-driven and highly motivated Key Account Manager to join their team. Within this role, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of major key accounts, deliver revenue and gross profit through retention, renewal, increasing share of wallet, up/cross sell, and adhoc product and service opportunities.

**About the role**:

- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within your portfolio and be at the forefront of the sales and renewal process with these customers
- Identify and develop recurring and adhoc opportunities from your defined portfolio base
- You will be expected to retain your defined portfolio base and manage issues with the relevant internal and external stakeholders as they arise
- Contribute towards the development and promotion of strategic plans
- Networking within your defined portfolio base ensuring multi-level relationships and opportunities
- Ensure portfolio customer obligations are understood and achieved across your defined portfolio base
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Attend regular internal and external meetings and provide feedback on progress

**What we’re looking for**:

- Track record of achieving KPI's in a current or past sales position.
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in account management
- A strong customer focus and the ability to identify client needs and solution sell
- A strong understanding of sales process and the ability to manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Ability to build strong long term partnerships and manage high end professional negotiations
- Experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships
- Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal) are considered essential as is the ability to effectively plan and prioritise all activities.
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- A current driver’s licence
- Full rights to work in Australia
