Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Consulting is a partner for the new rules of modern business. With deep expertise in many industries, we offer strategy, experience, technology, and operations services to many of the most innovative and valuable companies in the world.

In this pivotal go-to-market role, you will work in collaboration across IBM's Consulting and Technology businesses to drive our hybrid cloud & AI strategy, uncovering new opportunities for IBM to provide asset management software and services.
- The role is responsible for developing integrated solutions that address their client's business needs (both industry and business) and deliver client value while supporting IBM business strategies.
- Driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing and executing strategic plans to expand our asset management services.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs and pain points and develop solutions to address them by having:

- Real world asset management experience demonstrating asset management principles, including maintenance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Industry knowledge - Familiarity with various industries, such as oil and gas, energy and utilities, manufacturing, and transportation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Year on year proven business development results, multi million dollar quota achievement through complex deal solutioning in asset management and preferably Maximo.
- Experience creating and growing strategic relationships with IBM C Suite clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Experienced in go-to-market plays, excited by the whitespace opportunity - keeping energy high while working longer sales cycles.
- Reputation as a credible thought leader, with deep market experience.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering
