Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive for Avani Solutions drives new client acquisition and revenue growth. They lead the sales process from prospecting to contract signing, collaborating with Marketing, ESG Advocacy, and Leadership teams. The key requirements for the role include:

- Manage and develop the sales pipeline, driving new business and engaging stakeholders.
- Conduct client-focused sales activities, including meetings, presentations, demos, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with prospects and internal teams to ensure successful customer onboarding.
- Cultivate strong client relationships to understand needs and align solutions.
- Maintain accurate records using the company CRM.
- Drive progression of prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Signed contracts and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from new clients.
- Applicants should provide quantitative and qualitative data on their prior sales performance.

You excel in client relationship management within a technology-driven environment. You're adept at articulating complex technology solutions to solve client challenges, driving growth while fostering long-term relationships.
- Organisation and time management
- the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects, processes and dependencies.
- Communication and interpersonal skills - presenting to clients and to colleagues in small and large groups, in formal and informal settings; building strong internal and external relationships with people of diverse backgrounds, skill sets and seniority; networking and building new relationships with potential future prospects or partners; communicating complex concepts in a simple, clear and compelling manner.
- Negotiation - using empathy and creativity to develop and document mutually beneficial solutions along with the Business acumen - understanding of the motivations and commercial impact of business decisions
- Technology - experience selling technology solutions and/or SaaS software platforms is a must.
- ESG - appreciation for the critical importance of ESG in building sustainable businesses and experience or interest in the role of technology, policy and market forces in driving more sustainable business practices. Prior experience in this area is highly desirable
