The Division of Mental Health Services is looking for an Administration Officer to based at the Marion GP Plus Health Care Centre. The Health Care Centre offers a broad range of health care services designed to around the needs of its community, including mental health, to assist in reducing the reliance on hospital services.

**About the Role**:
The Administration Officer will be accountable to the Regional Administration Manager for the provision of efficient and responsive administrative/clerical and enquiry support. Key** duties **include:

- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of best practice administrative systems in alignment with Organisational/Departmental policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement in clerical functions and performance.
- Maintain a positive attitude and empathic manner, particularly in the context of working within a mental health service environment where unsettling events may occur.

To be **successful** in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in public contact, preferably in a health setting.
- Broad experience in an administrative/clerical enquiry/reception setting.
- Confidence in dealing with a challenging consumer group.
