As the WHSIM Administrative Officer, you will work under the direction of the WHS Manager and in close partnership with other WHS and Injury Management personnel and be responsible for the data entry into the WHS Operating System while contributing to identifying assessing and controlling WHS issues and risks. The role requires oversight of WHS administrative systems including responsibility as the Executive Officer for multiple WHS committee functions noting the role also encompasses coordination of staff recruitment, mandatory training participation. You will also be required to act at times as a backup support for Claims Administration functions aiding with the processing and timely payment of accounts and accurate data entry through the SIMS recording system of new claims for account & income maintenance payments.

To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, experience in the provision of administrative support tasks such as correspondence and reports, demonstrated experience with efficiently and accurately managing and using computer and data base systems, i.e. Microsoft Office suite and the ability to work under limited supervision, organising own workload to ensure designated time frames are met.
