**About our role**:
This is an opportunity to join our small but dynamic Brisbane growth team, in a role responsible for the coordination and management of events, some arranged by third parties that Avant sponsors and supports, and some hosted by Avant. The role will also focus on business development activity and relationship building in the Junior Doctors and Students space, as well managing relationships with our Public Hospital doctors. In addition, the role will see you providing some operational support to the team.

This role is a fixed term contract (FTC) for a 12-month term based in our Brisbane CBD offices.

**The key responsibilities include**:

- Build and manage key relationships within the Junior Doctor and Student segments to build Avant’s profile in the market.
- Day-to-day operational management of key external relationships to ensure we leverage all events, communications and opportunities.
- Maintaining sound relationships with key industry organisations to promote awareness of the Avant brand and retention of our members.
- Represent Avant at state-based industry events and functions.
- Supporting achievement of state sales growth targets by providing operational support to the Queensland team.
- Business development skills coupled with strong relationship management and presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, planning and coordination skills.
- An agile and flexible mind set in order to pivot between sales, events and relationship management in a complex market.
- Excellent communication skills and an innate desire to continuously learn and grow.
- Ideally, experience in a Business Development or Account Management role, preferably in insurance, health care, pharmaceutical or public hospital sectors.
