Our team is rostered on a rotating basis across our multiple sites including Malvern and Brighton hospitals, providing the best of both worlds - operational within a hospital and corporate within a large office environment.

Cabrini is a large not-for-profit Catholic health care organisation with almost 800 beds across 3 campuses. A range of clinical services are provided across the continuum of care with an extensive and interesting casemix including all acute specialities, rehabilitation and mental health. This position offers a HIM or Clinical Coder the opportunity to base themselves in a Health Service with the benefits of job security, support of peers in your workplace, a comprehensive education and training program and leading-edge software to enhance your productivity and accuracy.

Your day will look a little like this:
- Ensuring accurate and complete medical records by requesting missing clinical information, initiating clinician queries, and following up as needed.-
- Participating in quality improvement activities in relation to coding and Health information Services, as requested, and in conjunction with the Coding Educator, who identifies and implements improvements.- Accurately completing relevant fields and data elements in WebPAS, including separation date, mechanical ventilation hours, and admission weight, to ensure coding accuracy.

Essential criteria for this position are:
- Passion for accurate coding and a genuine desire to learn and improve.-
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, whilst still able to work to deadlines.- Team orientated and adapt to new challenges.- Positive attitude.
