An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Claims Consultant to join a nationally recognised claims administrator. You will be responsible for providing prompt attention and proactively manage all claims from initial contact to assessment, investigation and settlement of claims in accordance with the company standards, whilst providing a high level of customer service that differentiates your company from any competitors.

Reporting to the claims operations manager you will be providing prompt attention and proactively managing all claims from initial contact to assessment

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Managing a portfolio of motor claims
- Using technical skills, manage all claims (including complex claims) from start to completion within authority level and specialisation
- Negotiating and settlements on all files
- Deliver level of service which differentiates company from competitors
- Ensuring customer standards are met
- Manage claims within agreed quality and service standards

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven track record of claims management and settlement
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, cope with pressure, prioritise workload and meet agreed timelines
- Ability to work in a team-based atmosphere
- Minimum of 6 months managing insurance claims
