**What will you be doing?**
- Reviewing policy coverage and determining liability
- Communicating with policyholders, brokers, community stakeholders and adjusters to coordinate the claims process
- Evaluating and negotiating claims settlements in accordance with policy provisions and guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures
- Providing technical insights in to brokers and insureds
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
**What do you need?**
- Broad understanding of the claims process
- At least 3-5 years experience in property or strata claims, otherwise motor or domestic losses
- Strong understanding of property insurance policy language and coverage provisions
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple claims and simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention not detail
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal - and confident to engage with all stakeholders
