**The Associate is critical to making this happen and will**:

- Conduct financial analysis of customers and identify trends and potential risks along with mitigation strategies
- Analyse and interpret financial data and prepare quality credit papers to support strategic decision-making
- Effectively communicate financial analysis findings and recommendations to both internal stakeholders such as Credit Risk Executives and customers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Relationship and Product Managers for client acquisition and retention efforts
- Stay updated on industry trends and market developments that may impact customers’ financial profiles
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and participate in client meetings and presentations

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Demonstrated financial analysis skills going beyond traditional accounting based analysis. Sound credit skills with the ability to present a well-motivated risk assessment and business proposition
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide actionable recommendations
- Ability to identify key business drivers and mitigate key risks and make recommendations where appropriate
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Economics
- Ability work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously with strong customer focus
- Ethical conduct and respect for confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
- Sound communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
